that was odd

this afternoon i had an odd experience in the mens room here at work. usually, it's a relatively uneventful experience, but this afternoon while standing at the urinal attending to business (only 1 in the bathroom) i hear a guy come in. usually, most guys (myself included) when we round the corner and see someone standing at the urinal, we'll move onto one of the stalls (2 of those). well, this guy came in, rounded the corner, paused when he saw me and then muttered under his breath "asshole". he then checked the 2 stalls, decided he didn't want to use them (for whatever reason) and stood by the sink while i finished. it turned out to be this old guy who works for nextel and i just ignored him, but he had a look in his eyes that verified what i had heard. i found it most odd.

when i mentioned it to tk-8103 and CH (as they were on the way out for a smoke), CH told me i should have turned around and pissed on his shoes. not a bad idea, but i didn't think of it at the time. it gave us a good laugh. according to dannie osmond, that guy has always been a little off. he would say 'hi' to him when he passed him in the hall and the guy would just scowl at him and then out of the blue he returned the greeting, much to dannie's amazement.

oh well. be is so i suppose.
