what a pain in the ass

having been someone who takes pains to keep my computers running, i find it more than mildly frustrating when i do manage to get someone.

i'm not going to name it, but it appears to have been installed from a site that loaded when clicked on a link accidentally. but once it got its hooks in, what a pain in the ass to get rid of it.

thankfully, there was a site that had a VERY VERY useful utility that was able to wipe things clean so my laptop is now nasty bug free. yay useful utility and thank you to those responsible for constructing it. it worked beauteously.
