hooray monkey suit!

JJ & i were able to find me a monkey suit at kohls so i'm pleased. the pants need to be tailored, but i think it will do just fine. they were also doing a buy the jacket, get the pants for free, but when i went to pay, it didn't come up as that, so i explained that the sign said so. she had to call, but it gave her a chance to ask several times if i wanted to open a kohl's charge and save 10% on this purchase. i appreciate that they have to ask, but lady, saying 'no thanks, not interested' 5 times might actually mean that i NOT interested. so she then asked as she rang it in whether it was a gift with bonus or a price correction. i'd say it was a price correction. but she seemed inclined to go with the gift w/bonus, but decided that maybe we were right and it was a price correction. nitwit. the other thing that bugged me slightly was she stuffed my newly aquired SUIT pants into a plastic bag, much like a crappy bagger at a supermarket. excuse me, i don't want them wrinkled. well, any more wrinkled than they already are. i know i need to get them tailored and cleaned, but still, sheesh.

so after we left the store, we paused so i could hang my pants on the hanger. (which decided to fall off the hanger when i got home, but that's ok) so i have my monkey suit. the nice thing was i tried it on and JJ and i both decided that if it fit, then you must acquit...err buy it. it was what i was willing to pay and the "free" pants were helpful. so once i had it, we were both like 'ok, now what?'. we didn't think i'd luck out this quickly. so we drove around, visited uncle dunkie for liquid refreshment and then played some putt putt. strangely, i'm a much better putt putt player when i play one handed. go figure. we had fun, so that's all that mattered. there were 2 little kids that were flying thru, not quite understanding that golf (be it regular or putt putt) is meants to be played at its own pace. but we did wonder if there was a speed putt putt. maybe that could be an olympic sport.
